The Diplômes d’Etude en Langue Française (DELF-DALF) are six independent diplomas that are valid for an indefinite period of time and issued by the French Ministry of Education in order to certify the language proficiency of people whose mother tongue is not French.

- 6.5 million people have taken the exams since 1985 ;
- 1,165 examination centres around the world;
- Active in 174 countries.
- 35 examination centres spread throughout Canada;
- 2,000 DELF-DALF professionals in Canada.
