Studying in a bilingual section
Eight students from the bilingual section at Harry Ainlay High School, in Edmonton, took part in a video contest organized by Institut Français on the subject of being a student in a bilingual section. The Canadian entry did not win the contest, but we are very happy to see Canada represented among the 25 other countries that took part in the contest.
Institut Français, with the support of TV5monde, produced a video clip about bilingual education, using videos produced all over the world for the occasion. Click here to see it.
The students, who did a remarkable job for this contest, give the program a young, dynamic, and joyful image… they seem very happy to be learning French!
The contest winners will go to France and meet with students taking part in the “Génération bilingue 2014” program, in order to produce a report on their visit.
